Our Vision

At Secure Change Therapy, we believe that meaningful and lasting change begins with a foundation of emotional safety, self-awareness, and connection.

Life’s challenges, trauma, loss, relationship difficulties, anxiety, and major transitions can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves, our relationships, and the life we want to create. These experiences can keep us stuck in patterns that no longer serve us, making it difficult to move forward with confidence and clarity.

Therapy Approaches

Our work is centered on helping individuals and couples create secure, sustainable change by addressing the experiences and emotional wounds that may be standing in the way.

Through evidence-based approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other trauma-informed modalities, we support clients in processing painful experiences, strengthening emotional resilience, improving relationships, and developing healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. 

Why Secure Change?

The name Secure Change Therapy reflects the belief that transformation is most effective when it is built on a foundation of safety, trust, and connection.

Inspired by Attachment Theory and Attachment-Focused EMDR Therapy, the name represents the idea that meaningful change becomes possible when we develop a more secure attachment style.

As our sense of internal security grows, we are often better able to navigate challenges, regulate emotions, trust ourselves, and move through life with greater confidence and resilience.
